I deleted some files but they still appear in my account online
Operating System/Browser (if using the web)
(Windows 11)
Dropbox App Version (if using the app)
244.4.6580
Question or Issue
Using basic plan and got he prompt to remove files.
I deleted the folder that was share to public and the files are still there.
There is no back up. Under shared those files are not listed there. Under shared links , visited links, the link to main online page is there.

Can you send me a screenshot of your usage as shown on this page? This will give us some insight on what kind of files are taking up your space.
Also, since you mentioned that you've deleted files, but they still appear in your account, can you please sign in from a different browser or a private browsing window and let me know if you see the same thing?

Hi
I've been at this for 2 days.
No back up
The main folder is not sharedDeleted section is empty.
Tried different browsers and private mode, the main folder that i delete is still available.

If you try to delete that main folder again, is it allowing you or are you getting some kind of error?
You're deleting the files through the website, right?
