Missing files/folders on the app that are there on the online version
Using a small account for several people linked. Most of the content seems there when opening up through the Dropbox app but a few files and folders do not appear, but are there on the online version...

Great, thank-you! It was a semi-colon in the name that was the issue. As for the other question I think Dropbox is running as normal, says up to date version 170.4.5895. I’m not sure where to find the synch status…

The sync status is the one that says "up to date", so that's good as well.
Would you mind logging in through a different browser or a private browsing window, to see if you can find the same options when trying to open your Excel file?
