Cannot start Dropbox app on Macbook
Hi,
I installed Dropbox app on Macbook Pro, system Ventura 13.2.1 (22D68), but it cannot start. I have already tried to reinstall it, but still did not work.
And the error file:

- It mysteriously solved. When I restarted my mac after an update and gave it another try, it suddenly popped out log-in issues which showed that dropbox identified my mac as a new device each time I tried to log in, so I cannot log in due to exceeding the maximum number of devices I was allowed. After I removed my login devices, it finally start.

Hi I have a similar experience after installing dropbox app 171.4.6182 on new install 13.3.1. The menu bar icon dropbox appears[ greyed out], followed by Set up window appearing, which stays on for 2-3 seconds. The SetUp window has title only, no text, followed by menuBar icon disappearing.
This repeats itself without any error message

Hello Megan,
I seem to have a similar problem – I've, too, made sure that everything is up to date and get a similar error message (see below). What's more, ever since the update to a previous newer version, I've had problems saving files. Not sure if that's connected. Could you give me an email address I can write to about this? Have you tried these steps, by any chance ever since you started receiving the error with Dropbox? You also mentioned you had issues saving files, could you let me know more about this?

Are you getting the exact same error message?
Can you copy or send us a screenshot of the error log from the blue hyperlink in the "couldn't start Dropbox" error pop-up, so we can check this out?
