HP & Dropbox 100GB Upgrade Promotion
Hi, I have 2 issues I am hoping to solve.
1. My new HP notebook was only granted 25GB of upgraded space. I read that it should be 100GB of space. Seeking help to rectify this, thanks.
2. I absent-mindedly used my work email account to activate this free 25GB upgrade. Under my work email account, there are already many work files which are shared with other team members. I should have activated my personal email since I don't need the space for work files anyway. If I were to change the email address from my work email address to my personal email address for that account, will my work files be affected? Please advise, thanks!
- No need for that, Marion. I just sent you an email to the address that's linked to your profile here, on our Community.

Hey there marionyeoh, welcome to our Community and thanks for using Dropbox!
I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with redeeming your HP promotion.
If you were to swap the email addresses of your accounts, your files wouldn't be affected by this.
That said, if you've already gone through this Help Center article, may I reach out via email to have a further look into this?
Thanks! - marionyeoh5 years agoExplorer | Level 4Hi Walter, yes, email is fine. I can't seem to find a link to send an email directly to you. Help?

Hi, I seem to have the same issue. Looking at the terms of your HP Promotion:
https://help.dropbox.com/accounts-billing/space-storage/hp-promotion
The table indicates that HP Devices purchased on or after 9/1/2020 are to have a promotional offer of 100GB of Dropbox space for 12 months.
I purchased a brand new HP Laptop this year, it seems I should have the 100GB Dropbox offer, however it only came with the 25GB offer, which was added to my account. Is there any way that support can fix this? Many thanks!
