My files aren't syncing. Is my app connected to the right account?
I am a new employee to a company. The previous employee had a dropbox acct on the same computer that I use, however my files are not syncing with the other team members for the company.
When I open preferences below is the dropbox folder location which is that of the previous employee.
How can I resolve this issue?

Do you still need our help with this, MaryJDKrane?
If you do, please feel free to send us the screenshots Hannah asked for and we’ll be glad to have a closer look.

Hmm, can he send you a screenshot of how the files appear on his end, so you can send it to us along with a screenshot of what you see on your end?

All of the folders that he has shared with me are showing all of the members on the team but, for some reason when I add files to the folders from my desktop app he can't see them on his desktop.

Hi from me as well, MaryJDKrane.
Is the folder in question a team folder or a simple shared folder?
Can you please go to your account on Dropbox.com, navigate to the folder and let me know what you see under the "Who can access" column?
You can click the option there to see who can access the folder (it might say the name of your team, it might say the number of members or it might say 'only you').
Is this person one of the members of the folder?

Yes I can see them on the website but he can't see them on his desktop app.

Please sign in to the Dropbox website and navigate into the MARY ELLEN MCCROSKEY folder. Can you see the files that you added to the folder on your computer?

"C:\Users\sonia\Team Krane Dropbox\MARY ELLEN MCCROSKEY"
This is the path for where my folder is stored.

Hey MaryJDKrane!
Thanks for the screenshot. I was actually referring to the local folder you use in your File Explorer.
When you open your Dropbox folder locally, and navigate to the path in that folder that you use to add content for the team members to see. Can I also have a picture of that, please?
