All my files are stored in an old Dropbox account tied to an inaccessible email address.
All my files are in an old email account i don't have access to anymore.
that's basically it.
the basic chat I had with an agent said I can contact the support tech team which can assist, but I have no idea how to.
any suggestions?

Hey aldentan1, I’m sorry to hear about this.
Can you provide a few more details on what happens exactly when trying to enter your old Dropbox account?
More specifically, do you remember your Dropbox password? If you do, you can still log in to that account.
Are you being asked for a one-time code instead, after entering the correct password?
Let me know what you see.

it's the one-time code which I can't get to now as I can't access the email anymore. - Nancy2 months ago

Thanks for clarifying! I’d like you to check all of these steps next and let me know if they help.
In case they do and you can access your Dropbox account after that, make sure to update your email address right away.

It doesn't work. I can't even access the page the steps asked for. I even downloaded the apps and nothing can be see as stated in the steps.
I also do not have verification via SMS. - Nancy2 months ago

Are you being asked to enter a code that’s sent to your mobile device via SMS, or just the one-time code mentioned above (the one that’s sent to your inaccessible email address)?
Feel free to send me a screenshot of what you see at the login page as well; just make sure to cover your email address.

You need to contact support via http://www.dropbox.com/support while not logged in - even to here, so use an incognito window. If you do stay logged in you dont get the options to contact support.
However, please note its unlikely you'll be able to get the account back: https://help.dropbox.com/account-access/lost-email-access.
