dropbox password connected device limit error
Dropbox password connected device error. I have 2 device connected to dropbox password. But when i see the setting, it says i have used 3 of 3. I have tried using desktop to use dropbox password. But i have sign out already. But it seems that the connected device still remains 3 of 3. I hardly remove since i can not control the connected device from the settings. Last time i tried to connect another one but error and saw in the setting 4 of 3. Maybe you could fix the connected devide so that will be accurate. Thank you

Hi there andry88, sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Can you take a look at your account's connected devices and let me know how many you've currently connected to your account?
Also, if you navigate to the Dropbox Passwords preferences, how many devices do you see listed under the 'Setup' tab?
To find the preferences, you can click on the app launcher (9 dots icon) in the upper left corner of your screen and then click on Passwords. From there, click on your avatar in the upper right corner and then click on Preferences and Setup.
A screenshot of the exact error you're getting would also help!

there are two attachment now. i have 2 phone. 1 office computer, 1 home computer. i tried to install dropbox password in my office computer last time. and it says 3 device connected. but i already sign out in the office computer. it remains 3 of 3. now i tried to install in my home computer. it says it is already 3 of 3 so i can not install.
This is very hard to track. because there is no names of the devices which we are connected to. so we are just guessing. we don't even know if we are hacked. and some body else using our dropbox password in their devices. so to confirm, there is 2 phone in me is still installed dropbox password. but 1 device i don't know who are connected. i am guessing it is my computer in the office. but i am sure that i already logout that. maybe i will try to uninstall dropbox password in the office computer later on.

Hi andry88, can you ensure that the app is indeed signed out of the device, and uninstalled?
If that's the case, can I then send you an email, in order for us to have a closer look into this?
- andry883 years agoExplorer | Level 3I am sorry for late checking. Now i am in the office and try to install the extention in mozilla. It keep saying that i the same thing as i screenshot in the computer at home. Now i really don't know who is the 1 person connected to.
It says I already connected 3 devices. And ask me to sign out. But i can not sign out the devices from other device. Maybe this dropbox password is not for me because lots of bugs.

If you want to try, try use 2 phone device. And use mozilla ext. Install and uninstall. And install try dropbox security 12 words. And uninstall. Try test it out. Hope you could figure out the problems. Thank you - Megan3 years ago

I logout 1 phone. So i can login to my browser in my computer. It says in my computer 2 of 3 device connected. 1 phone and 1 computer. But in apps in the phone is 3 of 3 device connected - Jay3 years ago

Hi andry88, the phone might not have the latest information. Are you certain that it's logged into the same account as the one on the site?
- andry883 years agoExplorer | Level 3Yes 100persen sure. Sorry, I can not upload a screenshot here. Until now my phone apps says 3 of 3 connected. But in the computer browser is 2 of 3 connected. 1 computer, and 1 phone.

Can you please check these steps and let me know if they help you locate the extra linked device?
- Go to https://www.dropbox.com/account/connected_apps
- Scroll down to the section "View Dropbox content"
- You will see entries for "DB Passwords Android", "DB Passwords iOS and Mac" and "DB Passwords Windows", depending on how many different devices you have setup Passwords on

I think it is useful. But i only see 1 "dropbox password for android" connected on 8 march 2023 and 1 "dropbox password extension" connected on 8 march 2023.
I did not see the one that "dropbox password extension" that i connected on few days ago in april 2023. Which i did not logout. Still connected in my home computer.
