Android App: Fullscreen mode / Presentation mode / Slideshow for viewing images

Hello,

until a few years ago, there seems to have been a “fullscreen mode”, “presentation mode” or “slideshow mode” in the Android app. This allowed you to swipe through photos in a folder without leaving fullscreen mode.

Current:

1. click on an image in the image overview
2. the image becomes large (in Dropbox, no other standard app linked) with header and footer (info, share button, etc..., see image below)

3. you click on the image again: Header and footer disappear
4. the current state is the desired one

[Now you would expect to swipe to go to the next or previous image]

5. however, swiping only takes you back to the view mode from 2. with header and footer
6. only now does the swipe work

However, I would like to present photos and videos in full-screen mode using the app. The cell phone is connected to the TV via WLAN screen share.

Why has this feature been removed?
