I posted the said menu in case it wasn't call "context menu". Anyway, after the big update for macOS, these dropbox menus not working for me. Nothing happened when I clicked on share, copy dropbox link, or view on dropbox.com. Make available offline and online-only works though.
My mac is Monterey (ver.12.6.4) on macbook pro 2016
Hi @athenabeta , thanks for posting here, let's have a look!
In regards to your context menu not working, can you clarify the app's current syncing status, please?
Also, have you tried quitting the app, and then signing in again?
Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!

Hello Megan,
I've check the status and it is "√ Your files are up to date."
I tried installing dropbox app twice as well as sign in and out once, which doesn't seem to solve the problem.
Hi @athenabeta , thanks for your speedy reply!
I would like for you to locate your Dropbox icon on your menu bar, next to your WiFi and hover your mouse over it. That should give you the app's version. Can you check, and let me know?
Also, it might sound trivial, but have you tried re-starting your device at all?

Hello @Megan ,
I've check the version like you asked and it say "Dropbox 170.4.5895 Up to date". I also have restart my mac several time since update/reinstallation.
Hey @athenabeta - sorry to jump in here, but do you happen to be running any 3rd party apps like backup or syncing services or even security programs like antivirus which might be monitoring your files?
If so, you might want to take a look at this discussion as well.

Hi @Walter ,
I have look into the discussion and could say that I have no backup and syncing or antivirus 3rd party apps running. I only have Dropbox currently.
I also tried relaunching Finder as well but doesn't solve the problem I'm having.
Hey @athenabeta , would you mind just downloading and running the installer for the most recent version of the Dropbox app to update it, and see if that helps?

Hi @Hannah
I download and install the most recent version of the app from the link but it doesn't seem to help. The dropbox context menus, aside from setting offline and only, don't work.
Hi there,
We’d like to check what’s going on here, would you mind if we reached out to the email associated with your community profile to look into this further?
Thank you!
