Camera uploads should be able to upload from any location on my phone.

The camera uploads feature doesn't back up all my photos on Android. Unlike the Onedrive app that can back up photos from all over the phone. Wish this could get fixed. For instance, files saved from sms or downloads folders don't get backed up by DB.

There isnt anything to actually fix - what you are seeing is the intended action.

Please make the location from which Dropbox uploads images and videos user configurable. My Sony Alpha a6000 stores mp4 files in a folder named PRIVATE and not the usual DCIM folder. Dropbox does not recognize this folder and thus does not upload the files. This defeats the usually smooth and automatic upload process. I just bought this camera and it is a major issue to me - to the extent that I may have to look for another upload and storage solution. This is probably a problem for many other customers as the Sony Alpha line is very popular. - Thanks

This can be done in "device folders" on google photos please impliment this i would like to choose what is uploaded and what is not

It would be great if Dropbox could sync Camera Uploads and iPhone album so that if you delete a photo or video in your iPhone album it deletes in Dropbox too or vice versa. Currently users have to manage photos and videos in their iPhone and then also in Dropbox.

This would greatly improve the app's ability to sync more than just photos on any smartphone.
