Can't see my photos when logging in my iPhone

Can't see my photos when logging in my iPhone

Hello
I have a major concern. I switched over to my iPhone and logged into my Dropbox. Ever since i logged in on my iPhone there are no photos that I had from the last ten years under my account. I am devastated because all of my child’s baby photos were on there. Please help 😣

You have almost certainly logged in to a second account.

Check on the old device the email and password used.

And confirm it by going to www.dropbox.com/account/security/devices on the new iPhone to see what has been connected and when - also www.dropbox.com/events

The thing is that phone got stolen so I have no way to get into that phone. I only have one email so I know what the login would have been. Is there any other way around this?

Have you looked on the website at the links to see if this is a new account?

If you only have one email search your emails for messages from Dropbox to help you find the account. Remember if you are with Google Danielle.Burnett@ and DanielleBurnett@ (for example) would be 1 account/email BUT here it would be 2.

Sign in to your account on the Dropbox website and look at your Events page. Does it show any activity from your old device, or is it mostly empty? If it's mostly empty except for anything recent, then you most definitely created a new account instead of signing in to your existing one.

I just looked at emails from back 2019 and it’s the exact same email.

I also payed for the professional account so I could go in and see about deleted photos to see if maybe the person stole my phone went in and deleted my photos but there was nothing there

What about the links given though?

www.dropbox.com/events ?

Yeah it only goes back to April of 2023.
I’m so confused.

Hi from me as well, @Danielleburnett87

Can you let me know when was the last time you were able to see your photos when accessing www.dropbox.com?

Also, when did your phone get stolen, if I may ask?
