Back up the folders from the Dropbox PC app to my computer

How can I back up my folders from the Dropbox PC app to my computer or an external hard drive while keeping the original folder structure? I want to be able to access the files without relying on Dropbox. 🤔

Hey askmeerkat - thanks for posting on our Community and happy Monday!

You should be able to copy your Dropbox folder as is to another location of your computer and/or an external drive to keep a backup of your current files in Dropbox, but note that this won't be a live copy, meaning that changes you perform on your files in the Dropbox folder won't be reflected on your backup (copy of the files).

I hope this helps a tad.
