"Oops, something went wrong."
Every time I try to open a file this message appears and only allows me to go back to the dropbox page. I've tried everything: an incognito window and a different browser, but every time I open the files there, they load to a white screen. I've also tried clearing my browser cache, updating the browser, and restarting my computer several times.

Hi g1na, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Are you trying to preview a shared link, or a file in your own Dropbox account?
This will help me to assist further!

It is a file in my own Dropbox account from a shared folder. I am trying to open it in PowerPoint to edit but it won't allow me to.

So, the file previews normally on the Dropbox site, but it can't load the Office for the Web to load PowerPoint, is that correct?
- g1na3 years agoExplorer | Level 3
Yes, that is correct.

Is the PowerPoint file in a shared folder or a private folder on your account?
Do you have any proxy, VPN, firewall, security software, or even ISP/router settings that could be restricting traffic to the following Dropbox domains?

The PowerPoint is in a shared folder, but I've been able to access it for the past month. Yesterday was the only day I started having a problem with it.
From what I know there is nothing restricting traffic to the Dropbox domains.

Hey g1na! Hope you're doing well.
Can you let me know if this is happening for all Power Point files on your Dropbox account, or just this one?
If you have Word/Excel files, can you try to open them as well, and let me know what you see?
