Error 500 when trying open shared links
Is this genuinely fixed? Now when I visit links to individual files—folders seem to work fine and these are not links I tried when the site was down—the file preview pops up as expected and then is almost immediately replaced by the error screen. I have cleared my cache multiple times, I have restarted Safari and I have had the same result 10 times in a row using different links.

Hi Jay,
Thanks for the message and help.
This is the eg. of a link to a mp4 file that used to work
[Removed as per Community Guidelines]
but now none of links that I create by setting SHARE option to mp4 works. And I tried it in different folders.
But if I use a link to e.g. PDF file, then it will open with no problem.
I thought that my space limit was too small, so I deleted a number of large mp4 videos but this didn't help either.
So I am in the dark as to what happened?
Rgds

I tried this link again in the previous message and it failed same as before, so this is solid. I hope it will also fail when you try it as then you can make more sense out of it. Let me know.
And below is a screenshot of the message that appears when link is executed.

Hi DanielleDelosSantos, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Could you try switching browsers to see if this helps?
Otherwise, you can try using incognito/private browsing mode without any extensions running, clearing your cache and even resetting your browser entirely.
Let me know how it goes!
- Minority Mind2 years agoNew member | Level 2Me & my team are having the same issue. I can not have my team member access our video file folder without getting this error. Is there a site wide fix being worked on Dropbox?

Hello I am new in the community.
No files are being displayed on Edge-Browser.
On Chrome no information is being displayed on Chrome.
The links that I saved to open directly files are working still on Edge.
But nothing is being displayed in the directories.

To reiterate what many, many others have said this error, which I did not experience until yesterday, is affecting my customers as well. Asking them to switch browsers, run in incognito mode or do a wholesale reset of their browsers in order to conduct business is not an option.

I'm experiencing this as well! Huge inconvenience since this is how my team sends projects for review and I can't review them!
