New Beta has some issues

Having an absolutely terrible time with this new Beta (mac) build and have left multiple messages for support that go unanswered. When exporting files (small jpgs mostly) to folders within the DB folder, some will inevitably just decide not to upload. ever. They'll have an empty cloud icon next to them, and right clicking them brings up no DB items (the uploaded ones do, however). It usually takes renaming them, moving them in and out a bunch of times, etc, to get it to sync. Incredibly annoying. Now it's not uploading half of a folder, there are no cloud icons but when I click the DB upper menu icon, it shows all of them 'waiting to sync' but never actually syncing. When I tried quitting the app and relaunching it, it kept freezing on launch, eventually got it to launch fully but it's still doing this.

one other annoying but neutral thing it's doing is telling me my hard drive (with 200gb free) is almost full. it tells me this daily. just needed to rant about that.

This is the worst beta version i've ever experienced in an app ever... anyone else having this experience?

Hi cmcintoshphoto, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Could you clarify how you're exporting files to your Dropbox folder specifically? Are you saving them manually there, or by some other process?

What version of the Dropbox app are you running? You can see this when hovering over the icon in the menu bar.

This will help me to assist further!

Hi, I've had this issue while exporting from Adobe Lightroom (jpg), Premiere (.mp4), and Ableton (.wav and.mp3)

    Version 171.2.311

Thanks for the info. If you quit the Dropbox desktop application and then restart it, does it help with uploading the files?

Sometimes - I actually restarted my computer and Dropbox kept failing to start up, and I reinstalled it and it seems to be decently stable now.

It no longer is working out. WHEN it starts up, it just says 'starting...' on the bottom eternally but never starts and never syncs new files.

I tried reinstalling (from the dropbox.com/install page) but it seems to still be the beta...

I got it briefly working last night, but most of the time it just sticks on 'starting...' as it has now for over 30 minutes. All day it's quit and says 'dropbox can't start' etc. When I click 'leave beta' it just restarts, doesn't change versions or anything!

Ok, I've tried deleting everything dropbox-related off of my computer and freshly installing both the public release and Beta (separate attempts) and in both cases, it fails to start up just the same- can't get any version of Dropbox to successfully start on my computer anymore whatsoever.
