I'm not sure how quota is calculated with different Basic accounts
I'm a person (not a business) with several Dropbox accounts, linked to different Gmail addresses, for different purposes. I've had Dropbox Plus for one specific project. But it's a big expense for me...

Now, I'm suddenly OVER capacity — because Basic's measured in GB, not TB.
Basic (i.e. free) accounts start with 2GB of space, but you can earn more through Referrals and other bonus programs. Before I upgraded to Essentials, my free Basic account had 70GB of space.
"(If you exceed capacity) we'll begin by deleting your most recent files to bring your account within the limit, working backward."
Well, that's new. That was never the policy before. They would disable syncing until you were back below quota, but would never delete files.
Could Dropbox combine all my files from all my accounts, then say I'm even MORE over capacity?
I doubt it. The limits are per account, not per person, and they've never had an issue with people having multiple accounts before.
