My account keeps saying it's full - but it isn't
Hi - I have a 6.3 GB basic account with less that 1.2 GB of data in it, but I keep getting notifications saying the account is full, and it isn't syncing. I've double checked my folders and cleaned out all deleted items, but it makes no difference. I have been unable to contact any sort of support through the website, so am hoping someone might know how to fix this. Thanks.

Hi ngiglietto76
Just for info deleted files dont use quota, so, deleting the trash doesnt do anything.
Have you looked at www.dropbox.com/backups to see if you have activated that and if its using file space?

Hi, I haven't activated any backups, I can't understand why 13.24 gb out of 16.75 gb are used, can you help me solve the problem? Thanks

Have you checked that nothing at all shows on the link I gave you? www.dropbox.com/backups ?
What does www.dropbox.com/home show? Anything on those 2 pages uses quota - even if its a share from other users.

There is nothing on the backup and www.dropbox.com/home

I've browsed the Community and Reddit.. have tried several things to no avail. My dropbox is full and I have no files. Here is what I have done:
- Removed all Shared Folders from the "shared" tab
- Permanently deleted all items from the "deleted" tab
- Unlinked all devices
- Uninstalled and Reinstalled Dropbox App, newest update
- Confirmed that I've never started a Backup (there was nothing to delete in Backup menu).
- Cleared my Cache.
What am I missing???
