Hi JPassioninc24, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Are you trying to add a shared folder to your account?

Does the folder have more data than your quota allowance, since shared folders do take up space on your own account?

This will help me to assist further!

Hi Jay, thanks for the response! My colleague send me an invite so I can add files to our company dropbox.

Was this an invite to a shared folder, or join a Dropbox team?

Could you attach a screenshot showing this invite, while hiding any personal names?

Thanks for the image, this is an invite to join a shared folder. Most likely, this folder contains for data than your quota allowance, which is why you wouldn't be able to join the folder.

Thanks for the image, do you know how large the shared folder is when you try to join it?

Do you see the folder on this page on your account?

That would be far over your quota, meaning you won't be able to add it to your account, since your quota level is 2 GB. A 5 TB shared folder would mean that you need a Dropbox team plan, since they have the most quota available to them.

You can instead ask them to create a shared link to the folder so that you can view and download files from the site, without being able to edit them.
