This has not been a issue before, it started just a few days ago. Not sure exact date though.

It seems like it is working again now. Didn't reinstall or anything.

Hi Fredrik_P, If you're not on a Dropbox Basic plan with more than 3 devices connected, could you try an advanced reinstall of the app using the steps in this link?

I have both renamed a existing file via desktop app and added a new file and then renamed, deleted the added file afterwards and all things work.
I removed a file via mobile app and desktop app sync and delete the file correctly.
I do not get any error messages in Dropbox. The app just stop working; the icon disappears, the symbols inside the Dropbox folder in Windows Explorer disappears (likes the status icon). The only error messages I see is the messages in Windows Event View as mentioned above. There are some more errors see below.
I restarted the computer several times since the error first occurred, but it is still there.
I tested to re-create the error now, but it seems like it is working now. However this is the full logg in Windows Event Viewer for the last failed attempt:
Earliest line is in the bottom, latest line on top.

Thanks for your post, Fredrik_P! Let’s have a look into this.
First off, can you try renaming an existing Dropbox file via your desktop app (one that you haven’t uploaded via the mobile app on your phone) and let me know what happens then? Does the Dropbox app still crash?
Is this happening only when renaming files? Have you tried taking another action on your Dropbox files (like moving them to a different location within your Dropbox folder) and the Dropbox app doesn't crash then?
Other than that, I'd like a screenshot of any error messages that you're getting.
Finally, have you restarted your device in the meantime and the issue still persists?
Keep me posted for any progress.
