Problems setting up Computer Backup, with a new Win 10 Desktop with Dropbox.
Upgrading to a new desktop pc, and logged into dropbox.com to install the app. Install stalled at "checking folders" for the selected backup. Dropbox floder was created and all files appear to be there, but when I attempt to add a new backup from the new PC, the Preferences.Backups.Manage backups for the new PC is blank, and won't allow me to add a new folder. I am only linked to two devices, and the new PC should be the 3rd on the Basic plan, but it will not appear in either of the other 2 devices currently linked.

Hi there, jsauser11, let's jump right into this!
Which version of our desktop app do you use on your end? You can hover your mouse over the little Dropbox icon, next to your WiFi, and check for the number there.
If you could also send me a screenshot of your Backups tab, that'd be amazing.
Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!

Howdy!
Dropbox version on all 3 units is 163.4.5456.
Backups Manage tab from Old Desktop PC and Laptop
This tab on the New Desktop PC is blank.

Dropbox on the New PC prompted me to set up a backup this morning, so I chose the Documents folder on this unit, which currently contains 1 text file of 1KB in size. After 2 hours, this is the displayed status of the backup setup:
Stalled.

Hi jsauser11!
In case you’re still having the same issue, can you please click on the “Cancel” button that’s showing on your screenshot, restart your device and then, attempt to back up your Documents folder again?
I’d like to see if the same thing will happen.

Tried shutdown and restart. Able to enter the Backups setup. Selected to only backup the Desktop (about 65KB. Same thing happened. Had to cancel out of the Backup, and after doing that, the next time attempting to access the Backups Setup results in a blank screen, no selection boxes for Documents, Desktop, etc.

Hey jsauser11, sorry to jump in here.
Can you close the Dropbox app and then restart it, to see if that helps at all?

Tried quitting Dropbox, and then restarting it. Was able to get into the Preferences>Backups>Manage Backups dialog, but when I tried to back up the Desktop, got the same issue.

Thanks for all the info, jsauser11.
Can we actually reach out to you via email, so we can look into this a bit further?

Yes, you can contact me via email. Still the same problem. Getting good sync of the Documents folder, but can't get backups started from this new PC (other than the existing Documents folder from the old PC). I would like this desktop PC to show up the same as my laptop does, with a PC, and under it the synced folders.
