I am trying to rewind a folder that got messed up when I used a third party application to manage the files.

I figured this would be no problem, as I have Dropbox Plus and rewind.

The problem is the rewind .. "wizard"? ... forces you to first pick a date, and then you have to select the specific file operation that you want to rewind from. It loads 5 at a time, and you have to click more to keep scrolling back.

I am dealing with 1000s of operations!! I can't keep clicking "Show older changes" 100s of times....

All this part of the process is doing is selecting a time. It should be possible to just input a time (e.g. 4pm).

I just find it amazing that so many services get the basics so wrong. Dropbox is amazing, unless you need to recover. Than you're b0rked.

agreed 100%

In the past I've had awesome self rescues with Dropbox, intuitive and fast.

Now even using the hidden feature https://www.dropbox.com/events is broken, and support have no idea how to achieve a basic resotre of a folder

Boo hiss to 'rewind' and all the extra dross Dropbox is pushing

This is the reason I'm starting to explore other options for my backup and my growing company.

Totally agree with the OP, I'm having a similar problem. There really should be a way to just enter a time and have Dropbox reset the folder to that time - I've been clicking "Show older changes" dozens of times for the last 15 minutes and there's still no end in sight.
