How can I clear up space on my device?

Question or Issue
My dropbox was connected to my schools files and started syncing out of nowhere, downloaded 400GB onto my laptop. I went to the security settings on dropbox and removed my computer from the account and instructed it to delete the files. The 400GB have dissappeared from the folder but are now somewhere in my temp files. My computer says my folders only have a few GB but my temp files have 400, but I can't find them anywhere.
How do I fully clear up this space so I can use my computer?

Hi there, brunob1 welcome to our Community!
Based on your info you used these steps in order to delete your Dropbox files.
With that being said, can you clarify if you can locate your temp folder in your File Explorer? It's most likely located inside your Dropbox folder. Could you try quitting the Dropbox desktop application from the system tray, and then delete the temp folder?
Keep me updated with any progress!
