My referral was marked as ineligible, even though we used a brand new computer.

Hi,

I just set up my Dad's brand new computer we bought from Lenovo and I referred him to Dropbox. Followed all the steps and it says he is ineligible. 

This is a new computer (not refurbished etc) that has not have dropbox installed before and he has never had a dropbox account before.

What went wrong?

    Hi Langnn, does the referral you sent to the user appear on your Dropbox account on this page?

    What is the current status of the referral?

    A screenshot showing this with the date of the referral, without the email address, would be helpful.

    This will help me to assist further!

    Recently I invited a new Dropbox user, and she activated Dropbox, but my referral space didn’t show up.

    Can you try clearing cache and cookies? That often fixes this

    When we try the verify email it says, with a dart missing bullseye graphic, that something has gone wrong and the team has been notified. :(

    We have got email from dropbox asking if we logged in and have clicked on those to confirm as well previously.

    As a first step, have you ensured that your Dad has verified his email address with us?
