Were you on the same network (same external IP address) as your colleague's? If so, that's likely the cause as Dropbox expects to see the referrals sign up from a different network from your own. If that's the case, you can try contacting Support and they may be able to look into it for you.
Otherwise, make sure they've installed Dropbox on a computer that has never had Dropbox installed previously (mobile devices don't count), and that they've verified their email address.

Thank you for the suggestions but:
- we were not on the same network.
- for sure 2 of them installed on a computer that has never had Dropbox installed previously(one has doubt about it, maybe already installed by another user on the same computer).
- the email has been verified, and in any case, if that were the problem, the status would be "Waiting for email verification" as indicated in the link you sent, but instead it says "Ineligible"- Rich1 month ago

That would be reason for a referral to be ineligible. Dropbox can't have been installed on the computer at all, even for a previous user.
Your only option is to try contacting Support, or perhaps a Dropboxer will see this thread when they return on Monday and open a ticket for you.

Yes, but that only happened to one person, while for the other two I see no reason for them to be ineligible.
