No longer access to email address as it's been hacked, cannot complete 2 step verification

 

I have not had to log into my dropbox for months as it was always open on my computer, however since being logged out, I realised when I re logged in, that it's attached to my old hotmail address that was hacked several months ago and we lost it all. Because of this, I can't receive the 6 digit verification code. I have tried to retrieve my hotmail account many times, but it has been blocked.  I use my drobox info weekly, so it's very active and has about 15 years of data that I need. I only have basic dropbox and the ticket number reply sent me what seems to be a generic email indicating that the level of support I will receive depends on my level of Dropbox. I have read all the FAQ's to no avail. Most of them tell me to login and then proceed, however this is impossible. Please help, I'd be grateful if I can still access the information. I have a ticket number 24748471
