Protecting my account while my Mac is at the shop.
I have to send my Mac into shop for repairs. I'm worried about the folks there having access to some delicate info in my dropbox account.
I have on-line access to my account as well as an 'access box' (symbol) on screen. How can I shut her down for a few days while my machine is away?
Many thanks for the help.
Ix
Hey ixtlan, thanks for using Dropbox and welcome to our Community!
In this case, you can uninstall the Dropbox desktop app and then delete your Dropbox folder from your computer to prevent others from getting access to your files in Dropbox.
As soon as the repairs are over and you get your device back, you can re-install the app and let it create your Dropbox folder anew.
I hope this helps!
