I appreciate the "Photos" entry to explore easily the entire storage, but is it possible to add a facial recognition feature, and (maybe) parse photos by tags (with facets).
With the downfall of google photos now charging for storage, as well as them splitting from google drive, there are really no options out there that have both facial recognition and can maintain my folder structure.
I've been researching all day to try and find a suitable solution, dropbox really is missing a gaping hole in the market here.
I agree. I would like photo recognition as part of the Dropbox photos. I have started to migrate my photos from Google photos as others above have mentioned. Thanks
I have used google and dropbox for years (Google for photos and Dropbox for work files/screenshots), but started storing on both 3 years ago for redundancy. As I near my 2TB Dropbox limit, I’ll likely just stop storing photos in Dropbox instead of upgrading as the lack of photo search features is astounding at this stage. Google has them beat hands down. Contextual search, facial recognition and more. It would be nice if Dropbox would see that photo storage is a large % of many users’ total storage and worth finally investing in better user experience and tools.
