Retry failed uploads

Retry failed uploads

Hello,

While uploading several files to my Dropbox folder, my Internet connection dropped. I had to reconnect and as a consequence several uploads failed. There was no easy way for me to retry/restart those, so I had to manually upload those failed files again, while trying to remember the target folder to which they should be uploaded.

It would have been great if I could just click some button and retry/restart those uploads with that information instead of having me do the same action that I did a few minutes ago.

Just a retry button next to each failed upload would be so helpful!

The current dialog box shown below is absolutely useless and infuriating. When random files fail to upload it should give you the option simply retry the failed ones or just retry them automatically. Right now I have to somehow remember which ones failed and then start another upload, its impossible. This seems like such a simple feature. Please do something about this its absolutely infuriating and makes me want to find another service.

This is such a common feature of most competing cloud storage applications I assumed it already existed. This should have been a core function from the start. Where is it?

This is exactly what annoyed me so much about Dropbox that I'm looking for alternatives

This is a necessity!!! I just had about 150 files fail and now i have to go through the entire scroll page and write down each failure so that i can retry the upload!! this is ridiculous that this is even a problem.

This is so ridiculously apparent as a major flaw in the dropbox system. I need to upload 250 off TIFFS and halfway through the night the internet drops out and now I have to manually reupload the dropped files? Seriously wtf? Just automatically reupload the files when the connection is re-established. I'm now manually having to go through to see what files were missed and upload them myself.  It's such a simple problem that requires a massive investment in time from my end to make sure all files are delivered to my client. How is this a thing in 2021?

I just created a name starting with "Furious" because that is my feeling seeing that this feature is not available.  I will be cancelling my dropbox account and looking for another solution.  What a waste of money.
