Does DB Replay re-encode my uploaded videos?

Does DB Replay re-encode my uploaded videos?

I upload a video to DB Replay and share with my client. My client approves it. I share the link and enable download. My client downloads the file and compares the file size to the actual file I uploaded. They do not match. So is DB Replay re-encoding my mp4's so that the quality is not as good as the mp4 I'm uploading?

Hi @9mm media, welcome to our Community!

Interesting. Can you let me know if this happened with a specific link and file, or with multiple ones?

What is the original file size and type you see, versus what your client notices?

Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!
