I can't join a shared folder, it says I need more storage space.

Hi,

I have 2 GB of storage but can not join a folder that's smaller. It says I need more storage. What's the issue?

Hey there, S Va welcome to our Community!

Can you send me a screenshot of your account's plan page, please?

Also, do you have an idea of how large that shared folder is?

Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!

Thanks for responding. I can not see the folder size. However, I tried to add one single word file from that folder and got the same issue.

Hey thanks for the heads up!

Did you receive a shared link to the folder, or were you invited as a member to add it to your Dropbox account?

Can you try using a different browser to see if you get the same results there?
