Provide disk space for friend to copy files
I and my friend Tom both has Dropbox free account. Tom have files about 5GB of files (videos, photos) which I would like to ask him to share, but both of us currently do not have enough Dropbox disk space. I can upgrade my Dropbox to Plus account so that I can have enough disk space so that he can copy his files, but does this work? This will be a little different from sharing the synchronized files. I just would like to have enough Dropbox disk space where Tom can copy his files, while Tom himself does not have enough Dropbox disk space.
Thank you very much in advance,
Toshi
You cannot share space with him in a shared folder BUT once you upgrade and have enough space you could use File Requests instead.... https://help.dropbox.com/files-folders/share/create-file-request
