I'm changing my proxy settings in the desktop app, but they change after 1 minute or so.
I kept getting no internet connection. So i changed the preferences to "no proxy". The issue is. The settings on windows is set to off for "Automatically detect settings". If that is set to off, Drop Box will change the settings to "Auto detect proxy". Which changes it from my changes to no proxy back to auto detect, thus making it so I cannot connect....
got it working thanks

Hey shroudspark, welcome to our Community!
When you access your device's proxy settings, do you have any other options there?
Is this a fresh installation of the app on your Windows device, or an old one? If it's an old one, then have you made any recent changes that would cause this proxy behavior?
Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!
