Deleted account trying to unsubscribe to a trial in dropbox
2 Days ago, I was using the trial plan for business plan, and I decided to cancel the free trial plan and switch to the "essentials" plan which i had 8 months left already payed, but somehow, the dropbox team decided that it will a good idea to entangle the user into terminating your account if you cancel that plan, and I have no idea why someone would ever add such a thing on the billing page. Unfortunately I terminated my account, and I lost access to my files because I was looking for a downgrade. So I lost years of information and about 3.3TB of data.

Hi RFortson, thanks for bringing this to our attention
Unfortunately, if a Dropbox account is deleted by the user, then it wouldn't be possible to recover the account, or the files within, as they would've been permanently deleted.
Could you clarify exactly what happened when you cancelled the trial, and what steps you followed?
This will help me to look into this further.
