Change the display text of a URL to a title

I saw a similar question asked just prior to making this post. However the method described is not what I need.

I'm trying to change the display text of a URL to a simple title, essentially. One or two people who seemed qualified to answer this person's question told them to just use the arrow keys and manually navigate. However that's a waste of time and I'm wishing there was just an option for me to edit the display text of the URL, like Google Docs does. The reason I'm here instead of Google Docs is because for whatever idiotic, absurd and inane reason, Docs won't let you post multiple hyperlinks. And if you try adding a link to multiple lines of "plaintext links", it just links everything to the first address. Such a ridiculous dreg of work, on all accounts.

Seeing as though there may be no immediate solution, I would highly suggest you implement the feature of being able to quickly and easily edit display text of URL's like how Docs does it, but by keeping your current ability to post multiple links at once. This would be an absolute power move!
