Behavior for duplicate files / email via dropbox

Currently, when using email via dropbox, duplicate files will populate with a (1) or (2) at the end of the file name. For those seeking to use automated processes that require file names to remain the same, it would be great if the default behavior for this could be changed on a per folder basis. The option to overwrite the existing file and preserve the file name should exist. Being able to set this as a folder setting would take all manual work out of it.

I agree as long as it’s optional. I wouldn’t want this for every file but if it was a pop up option then absolutely.

@Megan I got it to work on a different idea I voted first before commenting so maybe it’s that. I got the vote link for this idea to work except it isn’t showing my vote it just shows that I voted
