Searching within the Events log page

Searching within the Events log page

"Events" gives me the Dropbox history, but there can be a lot of changes here. Other than by using the calendar to jump to a date, is there a way to filter or search the history for operations, like a filename, or "Delete", or even "Deleted by you"? I was hoping that at least the Team "activity report" would allow me to do this, but it shows only high-level activities like logging in or sharing, not individual file operations. I think this would be very useful.

Yes, any way to search events would be useful.

Searching Events is a nightmare.  I realized I was missing several gig of files from months prior and I had to page through individual web pages until I found a "large event" 3 months earlier where 12,000 files were deleted.  There has to be a way to export the entire list to html or something so you can search it locally on your computer rather than that page by page nightmare.

I would say some work definitely needs to be done here. No search facility on events.

Another reason to ditch dropbox... They keep missing the fact that 'Web interface' is the single point of truth of my account.

Of all cloud providers Dropbox's web interface is the most inferior choice.

It's clear that Dropbox simply doesn't want our business. Features are taken away and not replaced, obvious bugs and longstanding complaints are never addressed. They don't want us using them.

Ok, this is ridiculous. The web interface for events is archaic. Address this now or lose our business at the next renewal!

The way to "search" events is having weekly, local backups. Events is useless when you actually need it. Useless.

This idea is going to need a bit more support.

We've updated the status to encourage more users to back you up!

Just so you know, Dropbox Business teams on the Advanced plan do have access to file level operations and logs.

Every Monday I get an email showing the changes made to shared folders the previous week.  On any Events list, I need to see the complete name of each document, not the truncated name.  I also need to see the complete file path, not just the root folder.  Can someone please show me how to accomplish this?  If not possible, can someone please ask a programmer to make this change?  Thank you.
