votebox notification for status change and not for every new comment

i am subscribed to the following topic, but it is spamming my inbox with notifications about new comments every couple of days.

i want to be notified only when the status change, and not when other people comment...

the reason i am subscribed to the topic is to get notified when Dropbox offers a compelling plan, so i could start using it again. however in the last couple of years all i see is others writing similar things as me.
