All of my files online give me message that "something has gone wrong, but my files are safe"
Hello. I uploaded all of the files from my laptop a few days ago as I needed to wipe said laptop. They uploaded, no problems. I have gone in to access them today and when I log in, they are all listed for a second then I get a message telling me something has gone wrong but not to worry my files are safe. I have searched everywhere I can see but cannot access anything. This is all of my University assignments for the past 2 years and I need them urgently. I have tried the chatbot thing but that's just telling me that I may have deleted them (which I have not and yep, I have checked the deleted box). Can someone please help as I have an assignment due in a few weeks and all of my research is somewhere in here? Many thanks x

It sounds like you're signing in to the Dropbox website. If so, clear your browser's cache/browsing history and try again, or try with another browser.

Hi. I have just done this but I am still getting the same problem. I have also tried going in on an incognito mode but that's doing the same. Very frustrating not being able to speak to a human at DB.

If you're encountering a message stating "something has gone wrong, but your files are safe" when trying to access your online files, it suggests that there might be a temporary issue with the service you are using. Here are some general steps you can take to troubleshoot and address the problem:
Refresh the Page:
- Sometimes, a simple refresh of the web page can resolve temporary glitches. Try reloading the page where you're accessing your online files.
Clear Browser Cache:
- Cached data in your browser might be causing issues. Clear your browser cache and cookies, then try accessing your files again.
Try a Different Browser:
- Switch to a different web browser to see if the issue persists. This helps identify whether the problem is specific to one browser.
Check Internet Connection:
- Ensure that you have a stable internet connection. Poor or intermittent connectivity can lead to issues when accessing online files.
Incognito/Private Mode:
- Try accessing your files in an incognito or private browsing window. This can help rule out browser extensions or settings causing the problem.

Hey JoB76 & Akka0, let's jump right into this!
Does this happen with all of your files, or some specific ones?If it's with specific files, can you clarify the file type, please? Have you made sure the files were fully synced to the web, before wiping your laptop?
If you have any screenshots of the error message, feel free to send it over to me, in order for me to have a visual too.
Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!

All files seems to be there, just not possible to review them

Hi Akka0, does this happen on a specific browser, or with multiple ones?
Also same applies for your files: do you notice this behavior on some of your files, or with your entire content?

I see all folders but can not review anything in them.
The error message shows up after a second when opening the folder.
This goes for all folders.
See first post from Job76. That describes it all.
