Can't view a list of folders in the mobile app on Android.

It is extremely frustrating to not be able to view the list of all folders in the mobile (android) app. I usually end up logging in on my browser just so I can find what I want.  I know where to look, but I cannot remember all of the folders names. That's ridiculous to think I could!

  • I have spent a lot of time trying to get this figured out. Tried scrolling, tried wifi on and wifi off, looked for updates, restarted my phone, etc, over several months, nothing worked. Just *now* when I opened the Dropbox app on my android was I able to see all the folders. 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️ I don't know what is different about now, from even earlier this morning, but it seems to be working now.

You should be able to view all the content in your account through the Dropbox mobile app. That's its main purpose.

Are you saying there are folders in your account that aren't visible when you try to find them in the Dropbox mobile app?

    Exactly what I am saying.

It doesn't matter which buttons I click or what I do, I cannot view all of the folders.

Hey TBrasel , let's see what we can find about this together!

Would you mind clarifying your device's exact OS?

I'm assuming you're trying to locate your folders through your "Files" tab, is that correct? If not, feel free to clarify.

Are you not able to find them when you scroll there?

Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!
