Can I remove a subfolder from a main folder and make it it's own main folder?

Hi Friends,

 

Does anyone here know if I can I remove a subfolder from a main folder and make it it's own main folder? 

 

I don't want to have to upload and relabel the subfolder but I want to pull it out directly and have it be a Main folder.

    Welcome to our Community, movementartist.

     

    Are you using the Dropbox website? If yes, then you can move the subfolder to your root Dropbox with these steps and make it a parent folder instead. 

     

    Can you clarify though what you mean when saying you don’t wish to relabel the folder?
