CloudStorage Dropbox folder with date and time - OK to delete?

I recently helped a client upgrade and troubleshoot their Dropbox installation. They upgraded to the "new" Mac Dropbox software. Following the deletion and reinstall step, there was what seemed to be an orphan folder in the ~/Library/CloudStorage folder called "Dropbox 3-17 3:00pm" (I believe the time the old folder was removed). This was a copy of her Dropbox but I'm assuming no longer linked to the Dropbox account - correct? Safe to delete?

  • Hi - We actually ended up testing and deleting it with no ill effects. Sorry didn't get a screenshot!

Hey lokimac, welcome to our Community and happy Friday!

I think you should be fine to delete this, but can you send us a screenshot of what it looks like on your client's computer to be sure?

    Thanks!
