Integration Issue with Dropbox link placement
When trying to integrate a Dropbox-hosted file into my platform, I encountered an issue with generating and sharing the direct download link. While Dropbox provides a shareable URL, the default link redirects users to a preview page instead of triggering an automatic download. For seamless integration, I need a direct download link that eliminates extra steps for the user.
Steps I followed:
- Uploaded the file to Dropbox successfully.
- Generated the shareable link (format: https://www.dropbox.com/s/uniqueid/filename?dl=0).
- Modified the link to ?dl=1 for direct download.
However, when embedding the modified link into my platform, some users report errors like broken downloads or file inaccessibility. Is there a way to ensure consistent, reliable direct downloads for all users through Dropbox?
