How to change from Plus to Professional, when I've been subscribed through Google Store?

Hi There 

I am wanting to upgrade my package for Dropbox. 

I am currently on Dropbox Plus and want to upgrade to Dropbox Professional. I originally bought my package through Google Play and it does not allow me to upgrade to Professional on Google Play only on the original Dropbox website. How do I go about changing my subscription and will I lose any of my files?

    Hey Sarah_Ritchie​, welcome to our Community! 

    You mentioned that you have trouble upgrading to Dropbox Professional through Google Play. Why is that? Do you get any errors, and what steps do you follow on your end?

    Essentially, if you wish to upgrade from Google Play directly with Dropbox the first step you need to follow is to cancel your existing subscription.

    Once that's done you should wait for your account to downgrade back to Basic at the end of the billing period.

    You should then upgrade to Professional through the Dropbox website. Please be aware that if your account is ever downgraded, Dropbox will not delete any of your files. If your Dropbox folder becomes over quota all that should happen is that syncing stops.
