Brand new to Dropbox from Google Drive, and am shocked and disappointed that there is no field to input descriptions for files. I have a lot of archival images and videos that need to have descriptions attached to them (dates, people in photos, artists that created drawings etc.) On Google Drive I could input this information in the description field and then that field would also become searchable. So if I wanted to find images for different artists, I could search for them and they would show up because the artist name was in the description. This seems like such a crucial thing! My next thought was that maybe I can embed that info in the file's IPTC metadata, and it would be displayed across Dropbox. But that didn't work either. It's not displayed in the info for an image and it doesn't affect search results. Does anyone have any possible solutions or workarounds? I'm at my wits end.

Hey HJ19, would Dropbox tags help with what you had in mind perhaps?
