As a user who continuously upload large files (2GB-3GB each), I worry about the integrity of the uploaded files due to unstable internet connection, disk I/O error (External HDD times out), etc. I work in the Game/Film industry and 3D files all studios work with tend to be few hundred megabytes to few gigabytes in size (2-3GB file size). Data corruption is a major major headache.
There should be a column against the file names that indicates some identifier (checksum, MD5, or some value) that shows the local and online files are exactly same and is not corrupted or got changed during the upload process. The "Green Checkmark" icon next the file is merely an indicator that it is uploaded but does it verify that both local and upload file integrity is intact?
