Notifications on files' expiration dates.

We have many certificates on file from technicians we work with throughout the year, and each of these certificates has an expiration date. Most of the certificates are valid for three to five years. It would be helpful if I could add this information to a file and receive notifications as the expiration date approaches.

Can you please clarify how this would work with Dropbox?

Would you like to be able to add this info to files you're sharing with other people, which are added to your Dropbox account?

Thanks for replying. 🙂 

My idea would be that I could enrich a file with an expiration date and as soon this date comes in sight (for instance 2 week prior to the set date) I would get an (email) notification saying this file is nearing it's expiration date. That way I would know I would have to undertake action to get it renewed.
