Dropbox not allowing me to insert pics into Powerpoint on my Mac

I recently bought a new iMac along with Microsoft Home and Student.  I have always used PowerPoint to create presentations and inserted pictures from my Dropbox when I had a PC.  Now that I have a Mac, I am unable to insert any of my Dropbox images.  I just get a tiny box with a red x on it each time I try.  I use this for my business and need to find an answer.

Thanks for responding.  I think I have it working now since I installed the new version for Mac.

Hi @ackdck, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Could you clarify how you're adding image into PowerPower? Are you dragging and dropping them, or attaching them directly?

Are the images marked as available offline on your device?

This will help me to assist further!
