Reporting on Member access

Reporting on Member access

securityminded
New member | Level 2

It would be nice to pull a report on an individual member and everything they currently have access to within the team, no matter who created and shared the file/folder with them.

This will help with adds/moves/changes within an organization, to which people forget whom they've shared items with (say it isn't so!).

At the moment, the only option we currently have is to delete their account and re-invite them, to make sure they don't retain access to previous folders.

The report should include the folder, the access they have to that folder, and the owner of the folder.

Hey @securityminded, thanks for reaching out to our Community.

We appreciate your feedback here.

At the moment, we do have some features available, that might help you out with what you're requesting.

Dropbox Business admins have the option to sign in as user, to access team files saved in each member's account.

Also, in the insights tab of the admin console, you can create a report on files, folders and links shared outside your team.

Would those two be something close to what you're looking for?

Thanks!
