Account erroneously locked because of "full storage"

My personal account has been locked for several months because Dropbox is claiming the storage is full.  Their error is that I had a work account I was a team member of that was closed and deleted.  So somehow they attribute those files which no longer exist as being my files.  They're claiming I have something like 45GB on my Dropbox & I have less than 1 GB.  I have paid for a Dropbox plan in the past but do not currently need to share a large volume of files but I anticipate that I will need to again soon.  With errors like this and no easy resolution I am not exactly inclined to upgrade again.

Any assistance?

Thanks!

That is because the files are still in your Dropbox - the Team files are now part of your account. You need to delete them. OR you need to leave the team folders.

ALL files you see at www.dropbox.com/home are using your quota, not just your own personal ones.

Thanks but I would if I could.  They do not exist.  The account has been deleted.  I cannot see the old account nor files.  I have looked everywhere I can see & I can only see my personal account & <1GB of storage used.

Hey Farrel S., can you let me know what you see when you go to your "all files" page?

Do you see no files at all?
