Freed storage space does not show
I have deleted half the folders from Dropbox on my hard drive, and the deleted folders no longer show on Dropbox online. Yet the amount of free space remains precisely the same. In a previous conversation a super-user insisted this was because there must be a large hidden file. Does this mean the large dden file grows to take up the freed space? And how does one find a hidden file?
Thanks for the update DDT2 - could you maybe send us a screenshot of what you see so that we can have a visual too?

Hi there DDT2 - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
If you made sure that the app is up to date and not still syncing your changes, could you clear your cache folder and let me know how it goes?
Thanks!

Thanks, Walter. I cleared the cache (all the folders were actually empty) but Dropbox remains on exactly the same percentage of free space.
